    Very border between best of working class and lower middle class. Socially they are seen as more working class. Their working conditions are more of working class as well (very difficult job), hence lots of them emigrate to western Europe.

    Not sure exactly, salary is double in Switzerland for nurses and i would say it's considered like a serious medical profession. Unlike here nurses are seen as some sort of failed practicionners, a low skilled assistant job.
