Slovakia. A beautiful, small and calm Slavic country. Also I view the Slovaks as the closest to us out of all Northern Slavs.

Czechia, interesting landscapes and good landmarks, good beer, literature, movies, civilised without being flooded by 3rd word detritus. Don't enjoy the other 3 except the westernmost regions, too eastern, alien mindsets and the small towns and infrastructure are often not up to par despite beautiful nature and castle ruins. And I didn't enjoy the national cuisines.

Slovaks and Hungarians, if you want to challenge me to a duel, this is your glove: bryndzove halusky and porkolt are both absolutely terrible. Taste, smell, texture, 0/10 foods overall.
Pierogi are good. But vepro-knedlo-zelo is better.

Basically any country described in 1 sentence, except for migration cause it grows and will grow in each state, and yes each of them has good beer you are just spoiled because the best Czech ones

So only Westernmost regions have civilized people, interesting... infrastructure is partly true, there is a migration withing countries to bigger cities so it's natural there won't be many investment but they still are and these take much time to do, slowly it gets better

My favourite, did you basically summed up each cuisine in one dish? I wanna remind there is much more to these. Not to mention there is big common ground with these cuisines, so there is something you would like for sure, hundreds of types of sausages, sauerkraut dishes be it kapustnica or łazanki(pasta with sauerkraut), potato salad etc

Also unpopular opinion, Czech cuisine is a ripped of version of Austrian cuisine, there is no way to find anything Czech special, Polish have bigos, Hungarians came with gulyas and langos, even Slovaks came with Trdelnik which reminds of apfelstrudel yet it is made differently

If Chehia is the most western out of the four, my choice is probably between Poland or Slovakia for the linguistic group. Poles being the most familiar by far.

2. Most likely Todesritter meant mostly Germanised regions during their time of rule, not to mention most civilized progressed etc are bigger cities

Slovaks, in my experience, are the nicest and most humble members of this group. The country has stunning landscapes, castles, and a quite charming capital city.

With Czechia I'm most familiar with. Truly nice country, great beer.
