The fires in Rhodes have decimated the central part of the island:

As shown in the images below, the central area of this big island has been officially deprived of all vegetation, especially its thick and dense forestland, which contained trees with heights up to 35m, and all the wildlife that inhabited it:



150.000 hectares have been burned on the island alone, including houses, agricultural land for the locals and hotel resort areas.

The fire for the first five days was burning in only a tiny spot on the north central part of the island, but on Saturday, when the Etesian winds blew up, it got out of control. This on its own indicates that it was purposeful sabotage, because no efforts were made to put down the fire from the beginning, when conditions were ideal to put it down on a small plot of land.

The only ones putting down a colossal effort are the locals, as authorities do nothing. Absolutely nothing almost. In fact, policemen were sent to stop the volunteers, who are thousands, for fuck's sake.

Something tells me it's going to be like Euboea: even if they're going to put wind turbines on a small area of the burned forest, they are going to leave the locals on their own. Because in Euboea, the forest is already regenerating, but the inhabitants are not.

With the purposeful inactivity on behalf of the authorities, I'm convinced they want to merely burn the country down.

And the country is 60% forests.

And the best of everything is that all authorities say that it's arson with complete certainty, but global media say "climate change". Shut the fuck up.

Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Simonyte advised tourists in Greece to escape or rely on themselves for help.

Horrific. I saw this firefighter plane go down on the news as well. None of those poor schmucks could have survived the impact. Kinda reminded me of that infamous scene of that helicopter sent to deal with the inferno in Chernobyl, hitting a maintenance crane and going down.

Such temperatures were NEVER abnormal. In fact these fires have started since July the 19th in Rhodes, a day during which the maximum temperature was 37 degrees. A normal temperature for a Greek summer day, that is.

The only thing we have to prepare against is arson. How to punish the people responsible for putting these fires, and to find the people paying them (because they're getting paid to do it, all the time).

Well, these exist almost everywhere, especially in the north and central parts of the mainland, which have dense forest cover. Greece is over 60% forests, I should stress out. But in Rhodes and Corfu, these broke out within the forest, not even close to roads.
