I'd say that SE Europeans (especially Greeks, Albanians, Bulgarians and Romanians) tend to look the most foreign for the UK.

I would say a half Colombian (half non-European) wouldn't fit well in Romania, too non-European looking

The former. Having seen and met lots of Poles here, I would say at least 60% are barely if at all passable.

Not as a whole, but a higher percentage do compared to SE Euros.

Interesting. I grew up in Germany and completed my higher education in the Southern parts of the Netherlands and nobody ever guessed that I am a foreigner based on my appearance.
I personally can not tell most Poles apart from Western Europeans and the typical “Slavic” look Poles actually associate with Russians and Ukrainians

Sorry, but answer is that Poles are an utterly alien 'race' to England. In fact, Polish immigration to the England was one of the reasons for Brexit.

If by 'resemble' you mean appearance, then it's southern euros. Spain, Portugal, the balkans, Southern Italy, Sardinia, etc.
