If by 'resemble' you mean appearance, then it's southern euros. Spain, Portugal, the balkans, Southern Italy, Sardinia, etc.

Agree and certain Russians who are mixed with some north Asian minorities.

Being Welsh you might have slightly different perspective if any Poles pass better it is because they are crypto Germans from Danzig or something.

I personally can not tell most Poles apart from Western Europeans and the typical “Slavic” look Poles actually associate with Russians and Ukrainians

What the hell are you saying? Germans in Danzig and all Poland, including newly annexed lands after ww2, were expelled to Germany.

I am talking about stereotypes here, not about facts. When you show a stereotypically Slavic looking person to a Pole most of them would associate the looks with Russian and not with Polish. That doesn’t mean that all Russians look eastern. Actually in reality most Russians are even hard to tell apart from other Europeans

I don't know man I am being kind of jocular but it is not as if there is a hard and fast line between East Germans and some Polish regions. There is no English channel between Eastern Germany and Poland, is there ?

Yeah, I suppose. Poles have early medieval and later Germanic admixture and East Germans have mainly early medieval and probably some later Slavic admixture.

Additionally majority of Danzig and other Eastern Germans mostly look like Slavs because they are genetically mainly Slavs in reality, especially those from Gdansk, Silesia.

Taxonomy is all about psychology really. If you're ethnic English and pretend to be Polish, the others will see Slavic features in you even if this isn't the case.

That is one the reasons why they are obviously not English but some Dutch regions are more English-like.
