Brian Berletic hosted Alexander Mercouris, Alex Christoforou, and Angelo Giuliano on his The New Atlas channel, and during the first 18 minutes of this video update (below,) they discussed the best methods to help their long-time friend Gonzalo Lira.
They also dismissed Scott Ritter's wild conspiracy theory that Gonzalo is an "SBU asset" as being completely illogical and irrational, and explained that Scott is behaving in this unhelpful way due to his long-standing personal dispute with Gonzalo.
They suggested that the best course of action is for the Ukrainian government to deport him.
Alex Christoforou said that if the Zelensky regime doesn't like Gonzalo's criticism of Zelensky, and since freedom of thought and free speech isn't tolerated in fascist Ukraine (despite being a universal human right under the UN Charter,) then they should simply deport him and let him go free.
Alexander Mercouris (a former barrister with the Royal Courts of Justice in the UK who specialised in Human Rights,) said that he's trying to get legal assistance on behalf of Gonzalo, but it's not an easy process as he's located in Ukraine.
They also said it's important for people to keep raising awareness and keep talking about Gonzalo on social media, so that he doesn't fade into obscurity.
Gonzalo humbly requested in his last video before he disappeared that if nobody hears from him, to make a huge fuss.
Contacting and putting pressure onto politicians, media outlets, ambassadors, the UN, and Amnesty International may also help.
