Let's face it - the recent CELAC-EU summit was a disaster for the EU.

33 Latin American and Caribbean leaders demanded reparations for slavery from the EU, and many have applied to join BRICS+ (which already overtakes the G7 economies,) and are dumping the USD in trade after being exploited and indebted by the IMF, threatened with US and EU sanctions, and after the illegal theft of Venezeula's gold reserves by the UK government after the Venezuelans refused to recognise the CIA backed coup leader (who had little public support and has now fled the country to the U.S.)

They demanded for all references in the EU empire's paperwork to remove all statements relating to "support for Ukraine" prior to the summit with the CELAC countries.

As usual, the devious EU tried to turn the summit (which was supposed to be about trade between the EU and Latin American and Caribbean nations) into a discussion about Ukraine, even though most nations leaders outside of the EU have said that they're sick and tired of the EU thinking that Europe's problems are the world's problems.

Whenever the extremely popular Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov visits lots of other nations during tours, he rarely discusses Ukraine. He'll usually politely focus on discussing any issues within African nations, Latin America, Middle East, China and India, etc, and discusses the types of help that they need and ways that Russia can support them.

Lavrov will very openly explain the reasons behind the Special Military Operation in Ukraine only if people ask him questions and want to talk about it - whereas the US and EU arrogantly think that the world revolves around Ukraine and will deviously try to turn every meeting into being all about Ukraine, (and choose to ignore all the other wars going on in the world that were also caused by the US,) and resort to demands, threats, economic blackmail, coercion, and try to pressurise other nations to support Ukraine and to sanction Russia - even though sanctions would harm their own economies and people, like it's done to the EU bloc.

Most independent nations who aren't subservient vassals to the globalist US neocons are not going to destroy their own economies for US interests, and deprive their people of oil, gas, wheat, fertilisers, etc.

During the trade summit (which was a disaster for the EU,) unelected EU officials arrogantly tried to pressurise the Latin American and Caribbean leaders to gang-up and condemn Russia. All of them courageously refused to submit to EU pressure.

Instead, the CELAC leaders demanded reparations from European nations for slavery.

African, Latin American, India, China, and Middle Eastern nations haven't forgotten how the west has treated their nations throughout history and to this day.

The unelected EU empire officials also pressurised Argentina during the summit not to join the BRICS+ alliance - even though Argentina is an independent and sovereign nation that can join whichever alliance they choose.

It's ironic that the EU empire says that Ukraine can do what they want and join NATO (which is a threat to their neighbouring nation's national security due to the Russophobic genocide within Ukraine and would cause WW3,) yet demand for a country far away in Latin America not to do what they want and in their own best economic interests and join BRICS+, as it's a threat to the fading dollar hegemony to trade in other currencies and a threat to the US globalist empire for countries to pursue their own economic interests.

Actually not. That is the Dutch government acting on its accord by trying to be more Catholic than the Pope and using different measurements. Across the border in Belgium and Germany, there is no issue.
