Then behind their backs they make pacts when the communists or independentistas propose crazy things.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

The right got more votes than the dirty left. It is this nonsensical electoral system (Ley d´Hondt) what allows such dystopia.

Referring to the Goya painting that was shown above. A typical problem of Spanish politics seems to be the unwillingness to form coalitions across the aisle.

This is not a typical problem in Spanish politics because it is the first time we have had this scenario, as decades ago either of the two major parties could govern with an absolute majority.

I thought it was a thing leading back to the era from before the civil war. So why not this time?

    In the previous government:
The Senate has completed the correction of the law of only yes is yes with the opposition of the Minister of Equality, Irene Montero, and Unidas Podemos after a thousand reductions in sentences for sexual aggressors and a hundred releases from prison. Violence and intimidation are recovered as a criminal subtype to establish higher penalties.
This reform goes ahead with the votes of the PSOE and the PP, who have taken a different approach to their unusual alliance on this issue.

These are other scenarios and another story, the two big parties, I am not talking about the leaders like Sánchez, are monarchists, or at least the PSOE has not raised the possibility of a Republic in Spain.

Yes, they have allied and will continue to do so, formally and with Sánchez at the head of the PSOE this will not happen as he does everything he does for electoral purposes, but they will agree when they have to stop dangerous proposals or laws initiated by communists or independentistas.

Jesús Bonilla llama "monstruo Frankenstein" a Pedro Sánchez
