Bryges were most likely an Illyrian tribe and not Phrygian. Dardani were Thrako-Illyrian. Dauni, Iapyges, Messapians etc in Italy were of proto-Illyrian or Balkan origin.
while the Liburni, Histri, and some of the tribes in Slovenia/North-Croatia were probably Italic tribes or Celto-Illyrian although these have been up for debate.
