I don't understand the tendency to single out southern Russians. Russians in the south are not much different from Russians in the central and western parts of the country. Only the color of the hair and eyes. South Russians do not have a Circassian phenotype. Southern Russians live very far from the Caucasus. Russians with snub noses (Bunak V.S.) are more common in southern Russians than in northern Russians. It is unlikely that such a phenotype will be similar to the Adygs. Russians of the South are confused with Russians of the Caucasus and Rostov-on-Don. Russians settled these territories not only from the south, but also from the north, from central Russia and from Ukraine. Like Siberia.
