Do Kurds deserve to be independent?

1. Turks dont live there.
2. Turks are not native there.

In my opinion the current majority population determines who owns the land, not the murky historical rights. Nobody cares what happened 1000 years ago, its irrelevant and there is no justice in the history just weapons and birth rate.
If your government doesnt do anything with kurds then once they will be independent for sure.

Great, we will see how you will feel when Hungary and Germany become majority Turks, Kurds and North Africans. You will not need to wait very long for that to happen and

You are right, it is ancestral Assyrian land but regardless of this, it is a fact that Kurds are major ethnic groups there now. Assyrians were mostly massacred by Mongols, their rest-population was heavily decimated by Ottomans. I already said this many times, no one is innocent, neither Kurds are. But Kurdish issue is a fact now, they are major population in their settlement area but they are a minority in every country and obviously oppressed. If we would have a similar situation with Assyrians, I would support an independent Assyria too. I like Assyrians, their culture and history. I prefer an independent Kurdistan over radical groups like DAESH, failed Iraq or an aggressive Erdoganist Turkiye.

Why? I am ethnic Turk who is recognizing genocide agaisnt Assyrians which would be a reason to get arrested in Turkiye. I can’t change the fact that Assyrians became a small minority, what do you want to do with Kurdish majority there? Calling me a wolf in sheeps clothes doesn’t make any sense, I don’t have any negative views towards Assyrians.
