Just to be clear... where i live the cops will pick up the thieves (no placing under arrest) and give them a ride home or let them go on their own after asking for the goods back instead of charging them. No jail time or fines.

While the cop shouldn't have been standing in front of the car, the fact is she chose to hit the gas pedal. She chose to risk hitting him, which she did (you could see the car lift him off his feet) so it's understandable why he put a bullet in her.

We can say the cop was wrong for putting himself in a position that wasn't necessary and was clearly dangerous to him but she's obviously far more wrong for hitting him with the car because she didn't want to get arrested.

I find it funny how some people on this forum (TheForeigner, for example) are like, 'You're a nigger lover, CFG!!!!' But then we have retards like this guy claiming I'm a horrible racist toward Black people.

Yeah, in Cali you don't get arrested for, I believe, stealing under $900 worth of goods, which means people are going to steal. The Cali gov has incentivized stealing. So what a shocker business close and leave.

The bullets could have hit other people. Cops in the US aren't allowed to fire at fleeing vehicles. This is a situation where the cop hit the guy and he reacted to the present danger to himself.
