Yes, a well deserved warm welcome and by so many young kids, the rugby fanbase in Portugal is relatively small yet but very devouted and enthusiastic as we saw by the supporters in the stadiums.Originally Posted by Tooting Carmen

If there's continuity to this good work and moving further towards professionalization this WC can mean a big leap for the future of the sport in the country, with more and more young players wanting to practice it. I feel optimistic about it.So many young lads...

I wasn't expecting Argentina to win to be honest, I had higher hopes for this Welsh team. Great for Argentinian rugby to be again in the semi finals of the WC. But I don't think New Zealand will miss the chance to be finalist once again, that All Blacks shirt is too big to fail.

I had written here already that New Zealand was growing during the competition and there we have it, they have beaten Ireland which was looking good.Naaah, we can bet England and France will reach the semis..
Although... the possibility exists!
I wouldn't bet too much money on England and France, Fiji is a box of surprises and England has been far from impressive while the match vs South Africa is always a classic and last time the WC was hosted in France, S.Africa won.
The southern hemisphere teams seem to know how to play this tournament better, it's in the knock out stage that the real world cup starts.
