I got a ticket and I noticed it asks if you're Latinx. No one uses that term except leftist journalists in their 20s. For people who don't know, in the US there is a movement to change Latino/a to Latinx. It's amusing because the Spanish language is a gendered language. Jose the landscaper and Maria the cleaning lady don't call themselves Latinx. Most never heard of the term. Yet, the police department now uses the term instead of Latino/a.
