I don't think Russia has interest in annexing Moldova (Transnitria excluded) neither that it's realistic possibility even if that was the goal so that option I find very unlikely.

Romania would be and should be the only country interested in Moldova. Romania improved a lot in the past decades, they can easily absorb and salvage Moldova. Perhaps as an autonomous region.
