Well he dosent look like he is, looks like somthing is pushing him more to the east when he gets so much kastellorizo, Greek_thrace looks more sarakatsani

Father is 100% Sarakatsanos
Mother is a native from Thessaloniki city she can trace her ancestry back to Thessaloniki four generations in other words she knew her grand parents and great grand parents.

Both only spoke Greek.

oh,now it is going to be easy to extract the sarakatsani ancestry now.Can you share your Eurogenes K36?That will make the G25 simulation easier.Btw you are the only sarakatsani with R1b,i know many sarakatsani by paternal ancestry(like me) who have I2.

But is I2 not just a Slavic haplogroup, or is there a subgroup that originated there befor the slavic people migrated to the balkans ?

There are two main branches of I2a related to South Slavs. One is I-PH908 (mostly in West Balkans), other is Z17855 (east Balkans and I think somewhat older). Of course there are other smaller branches, but the previous two dominate among South Slavs. I've seen people carrying subgroups that predate Slavic ethnogenesis but in smaller frequencies.
