The problem with USA is that they are used to being the parasite of the world.
They are used to printing money and exporting the inflation to the rest of the world.
This will be ended sooner or later because the megatrend of the Global South rise is unstoppable.

There were no ramifications. None. No reporting by the mainstream media. No public outcry. The leaker was promptly arrested without any interest from anyone. The South Korean President even came to the White House to do a little karaoke to the amusement of Westerners everywhere (of an anti-Vietnam war song, no less!).

US is basically sucking the wealth slowly from Europe, by making Europe keep paying high prices for oil and gas and making Europe keep buying worthless US treasury bonds.
And Don't forget to add liquid shale gas that the US media kept pretending would be
'just as cheap as Russian pipeline gas, if not cheaper',
except in the real world it's four times as expensive,
and that's before Russia discontinues the gas contracts,
because the US is sadistic enough to charge it's own allies maximum price,
during a war between it's allies and an enemy they caused themselves.
