I don't think they qualify as authentic IQ tests which are conducted by licensed phycologists.

Online tests are better than those conducted by a psychologist, since they are free from human error and bias. An IQ test is nothing more than a test graded on a certain curve, it's not magic, and a license doesn't give a psychologist magical powers. Any random kindergarten exam is an "authentic" IQ test, if graded this way. Mensa accepts certain SAT tests as IQ tests, even though they are not officially called IQ tests.

It's not Mensa.no. It's Mensa.org, but it still seems right though.

Thanks. According own test we shouldnt take results seriously, just for fun, but since Mortimer usually gets 130+ on website tests and scored about 90-100 on mensa challenge public test, pretty similar to his real test which he payed for.... I believe we should be smth happy about our results this time.

Okay, I have returned to this thread because I was reading about American Football and they mentioned something about the Wonderlic test, then I remembered that I was going to do that one but forgot because I was busy. Do you know if this website is reliable? I took it and I feel like I got disadvantaged because of the English questions, I received a 43/50.

I still feel as if the Mensa Norway test I took was inflated, but trying this IQ = [(wonderlic score – 23.32)/7.5][15] + 100 conversion method I get ~139, which would be somewhat consistent with the other score. I might consider doing one of the properly administered tests now, if I have time and can schedule before my work starts up again... I don't really put that much trust in this, but I find it interesting nonetheless.

I was tested as a child and scored in the moderately gifted category. Average IQ in my profession is 120. Now, after having gone through pregnancy and 3 COVIDs with a terrible brain fog, my IQ is probably close to Mortimers.
