I thought this was interesting because Gascony has a Baskid component to it, while Georgia has a Mtebid component, so two polar opposite sides of European mountain types that share somewhat a similar morphology - I mean in the same way they have a similar morphology to East Euro Dinarids and Armenoids. For some reason, it's not rare to see Georgians on French rugby teams.
Almost all of the French have Gascon/Occitain-specific surnames with the exception of three or so with northern French surnames.
Three guys who have Spanish/Portuguese surnames even though they look have French first names and look no different than locals, were removed:
