Gallop and his insecurity in full display (as always). Always worried that Iberians are being 'taken out of Europe.'

While the language the author uses is goofy (his understanding of haplogroups and history raises an eyebrow) it's not wrong to say Iberia is at a cultural crossroads or pointing out North African influence considering except for Sicily and Malta this is unique to Iberia.

It doesnt make Spain and Portugal any less part of Europe unless you're a mentally ill dago who thinks this forum exists to annoy everyone with their insecurity.

23andme is even more specific in pointing out the North African influence, in years and linguistic influence.

The genetic landscape of the Iberian Peninsula – represented today by the people of Spain and Portugal – was influenced by several Mediterranean civilizations, including 800 years of Arabic North African rule. Now, a small North African genetic signature is present in Iberian DNA, and over eight percent of Spanish words carry Arabic origins. Conquistadors from Portugal and Spain colonized parts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas, and DNA signatures of Iberian ancestry are now relatively common in people of Latin American descent.

The same cliché as always, however, this is a description from a commercial calc company (questionable btw) and not a scientific paper.

A very strange description of Spain...
    https://www.yfull.com/tree/E-BY7449/
    E-V22 - E-BY7449 - E-BY7566 - E-FT155550
According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

This part is a bit iffy -> "The genetic landscape of the Iberian Peninsula – represented today by the people of Spain and Portugal – was influenced by several Mediterranean civilizations, including 800 years of Arabic North African rule." since the North African Influence is small and ancient:

And Iberia was influenced by (from most to least) The Roman Empire (it beeing the most influencial by far), Phoenicia/Carthage, Greece, and a bit of (mostly) non-genetic influence by the Islamic Caliphates, not several Mediterranean civilizations.

But the rest is pretty ok, in my oppinion, especially when it says that the North African genetic signature is small.
