    Just seem to notice that the ryuku phenotype is prevalent amongst japanese-brazilians

    I don't know about phenotypes, the Japanese people I've seen in Brazil seemed different to me.

    The origin of Japanese immigrants in America and they all came on the same ship Kasato-Maru and departed from Osaka port. This same ship took Japanese immigrants to US (Hawaii), Mexico and Peru .

    Not the majority but a huge number, yes.

    In fact some areas in São Paulo (Vila Carrão and Mogi das Cruzes, for example) are known to be a uchinanchu area regarding japanese background. Also, they preserved the okinawan language in a sense that's better preserved in Brazil than it's in Japan.

    Not really, they came from all over, but you are right in the sense that Okinawans are on the largest groups.

    I was watching this documentary in okinawa, and im like she really looks brazilian-japanese
