Winter has arrived! Any recommendations for a good brand of winter coat?

There are tonns of quality stuff of unknown brands. I also buy military brands in specialized shops, they're not the cheapest, but no overpaying for brands (except for 5.11 and Alpha Industries). Brandit, Mil Tec and lots of others.

I dunno if you have minus degrees in your region, but if you have, buy a longer coat. I have one down to my knees. I feel literal pain lower than wrist when I see men in short coats at minus, they don't care about their tool and balls.

I`m wearing only a normal leather jacket at -10 celsius and cant say it hurt my crown jewels so far.

Both in Istanbul and Ankara, the weather is above 0 °C during the winter in general. My current coat is actually one of the long ones that goes down to the knees. The issue I am having with this coat is that its zip gets constantly broken.

Do you wear something under jeans except underpants? I can't stand additional stuff under jeans or joggers so that's why I use longer coats. But some people wear only jeans over underpants and short coat at the same time.

I had no problem wearing my sherpa trucker jacket in winter, but it's best suited for dry weather rather than rainy or snowy conditions.

Same here. I wear velvet trousers instead of jeans in cold weather.
