most E. Asian diaspora is southern Chinese and they aren't exactly lookers (on average). Japanese also aren't overly good looking on average (at least men, women can be very pretty).

From my experience best looking east Asians are northern ones (northern Chinese and Koreans with Mongolic and Siberian influence, they tend to be taller, paler and more masculine looking with chiseled features). For men, that is.

I agree east asians with pale skin are more attractive (siberian influence?), but they dont really pass in my ideal male type. I prefer masculinity, the hooded eyes are feminine traits in my opinion and they are not tall either.
Once i was in a college party, i have talked with a chinese girl, i am pretty sure she was bisexual, but she was too shy to make the first move, and i had different plans so we did not do anything.

For women some Thai an Viet might be among the best looking in Eastern Eurasia but it's a lot of hit or miss there. Many ugly ones too.

From what ive seen in the streets of big cities (Seoul, Tokyo), Koreans on average look less deformed than Japaneses, lot less fucked up teeth too. I suspect it might have something to do with them being more recently urban, the difference was striking in that, yet Koreans are also taller and have more slender builds.

Their English is indeed most of time terrible so that doesn't facilitate anything with foreigners. Koreans in particular have this strange accomodation of English, giving Anglo sounding names to everything but without it making any sense.
