Default Homeless Crisis In England's Poshest City

Welcome to Bath, Somerset. A beautiful and very 'well-to-do' city full of impressive Georgian architecture and good living. Many would say that Bath is England's poshest town. Unfortunately, this outlook passes over the homeless crisis that is the reality of modern like in the UK. The growing homelessness epidemic is also present in Bath. There is a growing number of rough sleepers and amid a housing crisis compounded by the rising cost of living. I took to the streets of this popular city to talk to those living on the streets. I investigated what life is like for the homeless there. What are their options regarding temporary shelter and what the conditions are there. I gained access to the Julian House shelter in the city and documented the living conditions inside.

I've always found Bath to be at least a tad overrated. It feels phoney, like a giant chocolate box, and even if I had the money I certainly would not want to live there. For a posh town that at the same time feels more 'authentic', try Cheltenham.
