The Marvelė burial ground is in the southwestern part of Kaunas and is the largest grave field of this period in the Baltic States. The alleged Slavic admixture (in my opinion, also Scandinavian in the west) caused an increase of the Neolithic element and a decrease of residual HG element in the Lithuanians. Drift did not occur on such a scale among Estonians.
