And both have current presidents with Croatian roots.
I especially dislike Chile. Croatian diaspora there is somewhat special. I never met colder and unfriendlier people, at least online. What sets them apart from rest of diaspora is that they are on average totally uninterested in their Croatian ancestry (or any other ancestry for that matter which I found quite strange, almost as it is some PC thing and they are all just Chilean and being interested in your roots makes you a nazi).
Chileans I met online in general seemed oddly cold, liberal and apathic (like northern Euros of Latin America, but not in a good way). It seems to me southern cone is plauged by woke and leftard culture also, more so than rest of Latin America.
And finally, I find southern cone physically less appealing than rest of LatAm. It's not that warm, there are lot of mountains, cold sea, Chile is especially unpleasant with general feeling of isolation, giant mountains, deserts and earthquaqekes.
Sotthern cone to me seems like shitty version of southern Europe. When I want Latin America, I prefer something more actually indigenous American and with stronger native culture. North of the continent and central America are much more beautiful also.

They probably crossed it off the list as soon as they realized Peru is too non-white on average. But Peru is definitley the most developed and prosperous Amerindian nation in LATAM by far. Plus there's quite a lot foreign communities in Peru too, like East Asian - Peruvian fusion restaurants are super common, same with Middle Eastern - Peruvian fusion, (extremley good food). We have a strong Amerindian cultural presence, but also strong European styled one in places like Mira Flores, they're both combined in a very heterogenous type mixture, it's cool.

Actually, having visited Chile and also met quite a few here over the years - mostly though by no means exclusively former refugees from the Pinochet regime - I do agree they tend to be a peculiarly stuffy and cold bunch. By comparison, Argentines tend to be much more fun and gregarious.

I'm gonna be honest I probably haven't met enough people from these groups to answer this fairly, but I'm gonna put Brazil since I've had the most positive and interesting experiences with people from Brazil out of the countries on the list.
=(^.^)=
Also I don't do classifications currently, sorry.

What is my preferred Hispanic-American country?
Evidently, the mother country loves all Hispanic American countries.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.
