That's a load of BS. Greeks are a different ethnicity than Arabs. There is a lot of rubbish out there. It is easy to debunk that Greeks are Arab.

Yes, while we have slight similarities we do not look that much alike. There is an interconnectedness because Greece is right next to Arabia, but Greeks are not just Arabs doing very elaborate disguise.

I think the Greek man might be getting mixed up with the Ottoman Empire. Possibly that is where the confusion comes from.

I think people make the mistake often, that Arab is some kind of distinct race, and then they include Turks in it, and it leads to this stupid debacle. To be fair we are not very good ourselves; our Greek Orthodox still call themselves “Rum” as in Roman, as in Byzantine. Many people don’t care much for the nuance, it is fine honestly, but a little silly in cases like this.
