I do not really like getting into these arguements on this forum to be honest. Some of my really close family members worked with, for or just personally know a lot of these oligarchs, corrupt politicans etc. The info about the level of corruption, motivation of Orbán and high ranking Fidesz members come from these people, myself included. I had some business with some of these people, so yea. Anyway, I hope one day theres going to be an actual right wing party in Hungary I can vote for. Until then Ill just vote against these Fidesz fuckers.

And it just showed that the EU is a bunch of socialists, administrating an inter-national socialism, where - as usual - nobody is responsible for the money and EVERYONE becomes payed.

It's paradox to fight and get rid of the socialism/communism on an intra-national level and instead get it implented on a level above.

I have said it before and I will say it again: the EEC worked because it was comprised out of Western functioning (at the time) democracies. Time to restore our own democracies, cut the EU back to size and eject all of the Eastern glut. So let's return the EU back to what 1992 but with Austria and the Scandinavian countries. Maybe Estonia and the Czechs. That's it. If the Brits, Norwegians, Icelanders and Swiss want to join, they should.

This should be the full extent of the EU. With the ministates so tax havens are dealt with.

But coming back to seriosity: Don't you think that at least PIGS already harboured an economic time bomb?

I much disliked the old EU as it had the tendency already then to abolish the nations (in a first step and in a second step very long term weaken and dissolve the various ethnicities). This is the reason why I was happy that the EU drove itself ad absurdum by the expansion into shithole countries. I would be happy if the whole world overnight would join the EU. It would then likely collaps within a month (figuratively).

Sorry for interrupting but I would say that basically spreading the responsibilities from EEC let to end with what EU is nowadays, no matter which states would be in.
I believe it's too much power given into this institution led to limiting the interior politics of separate EU states.

For example it's not the "east glut" voting for mass migration in 2015, but if EEC would not be in power to decide about such stuff, then simply there would not be such voting. And as well without such power there wouldn't be forceful implementation of Euro currency which pretty much led to bankrupcy of Greece in 2008(and I want to remind ultimately all EU states except for Denmark have to accept it sooner or later)

From a financial pov, the East is a net drain plus it attracts countries like Hungary. The problem with the EU is that it, indeed, can block out national democracies, so we need a EU that is more like the EEC, but with full political control only on matters of energy, inter-European infrastructure, harmonisation of legislation and standards and monetary policy. The rest should all be restored to the member states.
