Thread: I lost almost 20 lbs since August !

    I am now 115 lbs (52 kg), a record low for my adult weight, hope to recover some weight in the next period, I've lost some 6kg in the past year after I quit drinking (almost a year now) and quit eating any added sugar foods (for three months now). although I am skinny, what I lost was still fat, as I am out of shape/don't move a lot, I have an office job which I carry from home mostly

    That is fantastic. Going cold turkey on one's sweet tooth is quite effective, it doesn't take long for one's taste buds to adjust and then one doesn't miss it all.
    Just put some workouts into your schedule, and you will slowly but surely gain some muscle weight.

    How tall are you again? If you are taller than around 167cm/168cm you might be classified as underweight now.

    depends on measuring, 169 to 171cm. I'm on the edge with BMI but I naturally have a low-fat frame (naturally Asian-like skinny), for which normal range goes 1 point lower

    I eat absolutely normally, and snack between meals. my adult weight has always been between 52 (now, lowest) and 58 kg, with an exception at around 26 when I got to 62 but was very active. I have such a metabolism that I burn fat rapidly and if I am not physically active I lose weight. very efficient body, so to speak, so I need to get physical again to come back in shape. but it has always been hard to gain weight, the few kilos I had more than now were from being active and the beer belly which I now don't have anymore
