Well, that's what I asked, how much you spend on average per month including everything, not just fashion or books. Apparently it's much more than 2000 €.



Besides everyday costs money goes on restaurants, spa&wellness, trips. It also depends on the time of the year. I spent 2500 € just for New Year's Eve. I spend more during summer though.

I am not obsessed with clothing. My family constantly tells me to buy something to wear. Most people would assume I am bum. I don't like to travel. I don't care about Louvre or Venice or the Great Wall of China. Perhaps I would care without the Internet. I am personally more interested in modern science. I would love to visit or spend a day or two with prominent scientists who work in research institutes or research universities, CERN or similar. That would be interesting.

As for me, I didn’t spend anything for Christmas and New Years Eve. I cancelled all activities and celebrations, because I’m very ill. I had planned to buy very beautiful presents at a wonderful Belarusian Christmas market, where I go every year, but did not even do that. I just visited some family members, like my husband’s family, as I said. And most of the time, I slept on a sofa at their place. I have been very ill for almost three weeks now. I caught a very severe flu and a horrible bronchitis (I am prone to bronchitis because I am asthmatic). Now, I still have a lot of muscle pain in the legs and the arms and I still cough, especially in the evening and at night. The cough prevents me from sleeping. But I collapse from fatigue around 4-5 am. Then, I get up at about 11 am. And now, I have extremely painful and burning red blotches on my forehead. So, I saw my doctor today. It’s the fifth time in three weeks that I see him. And he told me I have shingles, herpes zoster. He said I got that because my immunity is so low. I am devastated and extremely worried.

My mother had it several years ago, the shingles were on her forehead/scalp. It looked pretty bad, but she made a nice recovery, as I remember it took a good month to run it's course.
