I'm not a fan of Maduro, but what people don't get is that since current Venezuela is not acting like a banana Republic that is completely under the US American influence, but has its own independent international politics, including good relations with China, Russia, Iran

Venezuela and Iran are eyeing a 25 Billion USD trade.

Iran recently delivered some naval military equipment as well with TOT to Venezuela including missile crafts, naval cruise missiles and same UCAVs that were purchased by Russia as well.
