Panama a bit overpopulated and and not attracting the best immigration
The worst thing is that despite the economic problems it continues to attract immigration from South and Central America.

What makes a country underpopulated, and what population do you think Australia, the US and Canada should have?
    Spoiler!

But no, I am not advocating mass immigration. A better measure would be to increase birth rates, although certainly the UK, Belgium and the Netherlands in particular could export some of their excess populations.

That doesn't really answer the question, the fact that Australia, US and Canada have lower population density than other places doesn't intrinsically make them underpopulated. I'm curious what you or anyone thinks is the appropriate carrying capacity for each country.
    Spoiler!

Maybe between 25-100 people per square kilometre? And it is funny you omitted the other countries I also classified as underpopulated.

Lebanon, even with deflated counts that it has because of unregistered millions of refugees it is still one of the most dense. Still pretty though, it is definitely worse near the cities

By that do you mean Syrians and Iraqis, or do you also include fourth-generation Palestinians who have never stepped foot in Jericho or Ramallah?

So the minimum population in Australia should be about 9x it's current population? 225m people. What a nightmare. Can only imagine how much worse the quality of life would be, considering the astronomical property prices at 25million, and water scarcity.
    Spoiler!

So you like the fact that hardly anyone lives in the west of the country, except for Perth and the surrounding areas?
