Greece's arguably was from 1950 to 1982-3, when it had the second highest growth rate after Japan, an average of 8% for all these thirty years, with consistently low inflation, a stable currency exchange rate and actual industries.

Right now, it's literally on a recovery (if it can be called that) from potentially the worst economic crisis we ever had.

Until 2014 Russia was one of the richest post-communist countries, richer than the likes of Latvia, Lithuania, Poland.

It took the entire Western world's effort to tamper our development.

2012-2015 was fine as well.

The first decade of the Republic of Turkey witnessed the highest economic growth, if I remember correctly.

Hard to say as it depends on how one looks at it. Pre-Covid years were seen as quite good economically in Poland, so say, before 2020.

In recent economic terms, up until 1980 with a similar gdp to Germany back then. Then socialists took over, cancer policies spreaded left and right...now arguably down even below UK level.

In the U.S., the best period extended from the end of World War II through the 1960's, and after that, to a lesser degree. America had its own industrial base back then, and so there were plenty of jobs that paid a living wage. Layoffs weren't routine like they are now. If I remember correctly, I read that a young man could graduate from high school, and then get decent wages by going to work at a factory. If he was careful with his money, he could get married, get a place to live, and he and his wife could have two children; all this could be done on his wages alone.
