It feels like the seasons have shifted in time, arriving later.

    ltm; invest in fake snow
Russians are wearing t-shirts inside almost whole winter because central heating considers +23 for the room standard Most of my life I walked barefoot, t-shirt and shorts inside even in February. Even in Ukraine in 90s where heating was poor, because we could afford gas heating for comfortable degrees.

Here it's mostly pissing as always. There was one sunny day finally yesterday and I managed to get to the beach to surf and swim.

You can just dress warmer. moreover, we are on vacation and I only went out to Church and the store (all in my neighborhood). A brachymorphic structure with a wide body and short limbs helps me. About freezing to death, many Poles were exiled here in the 19th century and they survived)))

Since I don't want to joke about the many deaths of the Poles in the Russian Empire and the USSR I'm not gonna say that many unfortunately did not survive, but I understand that in normal conditions (i.e. not in a gulag or forced labor camp) people can prepare themselves for such weather conditions and likely also somewhat get used to it if they live somewhere long enough.

    That's real cold.

The coldest that I have done an overnight camping trip is about -20c, so I'm impressed with your temperatures.
