Kazan Tatars are Uralic Turkic. Hence why she looks similar to Komi or Udmurts who are Uralic. She does look atypical for a Kazan Tatar and I thought I saw someone say she was half Russian, half Kazan Tatar but I'm not sure.

There was an older sister of a girl I went to school with who some people here initially thought was somewhat Uralic/Udmurt looking. Quite atypical individual but there is a large range of variation among Ashkenazi Jews. Some can be very Northeastern European looking.
