If you are not looking for a shallow or short-term partner, then the majority of online dating is pointless. It is the same whether you are a man looking for a woman or a woman looking for a man— though being a woman means you will get more matches and attention on these apps, the quality of that attention ranges from poor to degenerate. When people have access to an endless carousel of potential mates, they will be far more picky or superficial than they are in real life. All of this is a symptom of a bigger issue.

This 'blackpill' mentality emerges when you are exposed to that type of environment constantly, and begin to see it as reality. This effect in inverse is what spawned the recent slew of misandrist 'feminist' ideologies that push men to radical ideologies on the other side, then those feed the pseudo-feminist misandry, then... you understand the idea, it is a loop.

But if you look around in real life, you will immediately notice that this extreme polarization falls apart. Females aren't all 2D Instagram models/'Tiktok' wokie-types, nor will they bring out a tape measure and go "Wowww you aren't over 182.3 cm, you are rejected, goodbye!" Males aren't abusive sex fiends or the 'ultimate evil!11,' bla bla bla.

Why do you see so many young men who are completely sacrilegious LARPing as Orthodox Christian nowadays? Because it is 'based,' because it gives them a sense of moral superiority. Why that whole 'body positivity' movement that was originally for the disabled and sick just turn into "It is okay to be morbidly obese?" Because those who have had 'acceptance, acceptance' drilled into them kept becoming more and more radical.

An algorithm-dominated internet purposefully pushes rage-inducing content to maximize interactions and make the most money, while easy targets become radicalized little engagement farms that contribute to an increasingly radical society. The real problem is that people have formed their own insular communities ("ghettos" might even be appropriate) where these ideas take a deeper root and rot brains further. Even the most casual internet user has been conditioned to accept ridiculous ideas as a core part of their identity.

Once a person understands the disconnect between what they are being spoon-fed and the way reality is, ideally they will go back to forming ideas on their own. My worry is that we will, already have or are on the trajectory to living in a world where the majority have lost this ability and instead become part of a conformist hivemind— yes, even being 'radical blackpill!1!!' is conformism, it is a 'sectarian' conformism. That is why traditional institutions, clubs, social interaction need to be preserved: to give people a chance to 'snap out of it.'
