No.

For groups you can tell they are clustering with South Slavs, but for individuals is not possible to identify Romanians with any amount of confidence. The range of phenotypes is too large.

You're describing something quite specific, the Romanian truck driver or construction worker that work outside the borders. They're pretty far from average.

This usally works for me, if you can see that the person is european, but you cant place them in any country they are usally Romanians

What exactly is a Romanian? I'm an Italian American and look, I don't know a whole lot about Romanians and Eastern Europe. Is a Romanian some kinda offspring of an Italian and Polish more or less? I'm trying to understand Eastern Europe and the Balkan and it's making my head spin!

For sure it is, Italy is just a bigger Greece, and Romania is right between Greece and Poland
