It just doesn't make sense to me because the amerindians from Mexico are one of the least mongoloid looking natives and let's not forget the average mexican Is nearly 50% European. Tbh It would make much more sense even with Chileans, Peruvian, Ecuadorians since the amerindians from there are more pseudo mongoloid than the Mexican ones.

Im not denying there's mexicans who look Asian or Filipino I have said before even 5-10% of mexicans can pass as some sort of Asian (Filipino mostly)

It would make much MORE Sense If Peruvians, Bolivians and everyone from the Andean regions gets the tittle since on average your Indios are more mongoloid looking than ours.

You are wrong as always: due to acclimatization, Andes Indios got prominent and aquiline noses which is a trait no other indio in Latin America (not even other asians) got. OTOH Amazon natives (Brasil, Colombia and Peru) are the ones who resemble SE Asians the most.

I've seen a very small handful of Mestizos and other Central American Amerindian mixed people who were vaguely Asian looking, but the vast majority of them are so different from Southeast Asians that it's funny to say the groups look anything alike. Yeah, maybe if you think having brown skin and dark hair makes two people look exactly the same... lol.

They are all Mongoloid or mixed with Mongoloid which is about where the similarities end. This is like saying that a Norwegian and an Iranian look exactly the same because they're in the same broad group though.
