To me, turkish identity share similarities with mexicans, or to be precise, with chicano identity: both are groups of mixed people who think nationality is a race.

Turks are on castizo range rather than mestizo.

in my opinion before Turkey be called Turkey, it was called Byzantine Empire, a Empire based in Greco-Roman continuity, most notably Greek, even before Byzantine Empire the Anatolia were alr part of Greek world, and as "Greeks" were in multiples groups like Myceneans, Minoas they also had the Anatolian Greeks, Troy and Miletus were great cities in Greek Anatolia and part of Graeco world.
Greek presence in Anatolia can not be denied, Istanbul be called Constantinople once its just one more proof of the historical Greco-Anatolian relantionship

I was not talking about proportions but about the fact that not all turks are the same racially speaking.

Native Anatolians are not genetically Greek. Anatolian Turks are 50-70% Native Anatolian and 25-45% Medieval Turkic on average. It really is that simple. Mycenaean (Bronze Age Greek) DNA is almost non-existent among ethnic Turks.

Which samples did you use in the first calculator? Also are you saying that Anatolian Greeks and Aegean Greeks have no Greek Admixture? Also, Roman Anatolians were most likely already Greek-influenced.

It depends on what you use the term "Greek" for. Every Turk definitely has "Rum" roots in his ancestry.
