The Erdogan Neo Otomanists idea aren’t really bad for western interest if he control the middle east area, defeating Islamic terrorists force as ISIS, Al Qaeda, etc.
The coup de grace to the Ottoman Empire by France and the United Kingdom may be the genesis of current Islamic terrorism, due to various factors.
The Middle East needs strong leaders who can effectively control Islamic radicalism and the way they divided the land of the Middle East created conflicts like Palestine and Israel.
