Why making fun? I find this interesting especially naval parts. Russia has a highly educated work force and it's a shame the leadership hasn't used it to its full. Seriously with their education and resources Russia should be the richest country in the world, maybe this is the push it needed.

- The SMTT enterprise. High–Voltage Solutions" (formerly called "Power Machines - Toshiba High-Voltage Transformers") has passed into Russian jurisdiction and is now 100% owned by Active-Energia LLC (PJSC Inter RAO).

- The Tu-214 aircraft returned to commercial passenger air transportation in Russia after a seven-year break. On February 2, the Red Wings Tu-214 made its first flight from Zhukovsky near Moscow to Sochi. The United Aircraft Corporation promises to resume deliveries of new Tu-214 in passenger versions from this year. It is planned to produce 115 such aircraft by 2030.

- Russian companies in the ferrous metallurgy sector remain among the most efficient in the world. The current cost of a ton of hot rolled products is about $300 per ton. According to experts, in 2024, the total volume of steel smelting in Russia will be about 76 million tons.

- The modernization of one of the largest main power lines in Orenburg region has begun. The length of the 220 kV Saraktash-Tyaga – Kargalinskaya line is 129 km. The route passes through steppe areas with difficult climatic conditions, high wind and ice loads. Power engineers will replace 60 poles and upgrade the insulation of the power line, which will increase the reliability of its operation.

- Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko today broke the world record for the total human stay in space. He spent a total of 878 days in space, 11 hours, 29 minutes, 49 seconds, and continues to work in orbit. It is expected that at the end of the annual expedition, his total flight time will be 1,110 days. - New cancer centers have been opened in three regions of Russia. All centers are equipped with advanced equipment. - A new Rostselmash tractor plant has been launched in Rostov-on-Don in a test mode. The plant is being prepared for opening: technological processes are being debugged. The production of the tractor plant has a high level of automation. At this site, the company will produce a range of tractors from 170 hp to 600+ hp with articulated and classic frame, tracked. The production of road construction equipment will also be launched. When the plant reaches full capacity, it will employ up to 1,850 people.

- High-pressure boilers for pyrolysis, compression and gas separation production were launched in test mode at the EP-600 (SIBUR) complex under construction in Nizhnekamsk. The EP-600 is planned to be launched in 2024. The launch of the EP-600 production complex will double Nizhnekamskneftekhim's ethylene production capabilities. Ethylene derivatives are widely in demand in medicine, construction, automotive and many other industries.

- In the Vologda region, Kharovsklesprom was opened - the production of planed products. It is planned to produce 30,000 cubic meters per year. Investments amounted to 63 million rubles.

- PJSC Il launches a civilian version of the Il-76MD-90A transport vehicle. PJSC Il begins work on the certification of the deeply modernized Il-76MD-90A according to civil standards. The line of IL-76 aircraft of previous generations included civilian versions designed for commercial cargo transportation.

- The Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation and OKB Micron will create a Heavy Engineering Center in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. - Russian Railways is testing high-speed freight trains. Domestic manufacturers are developing wagons and platforms for railway transportation at a speed of 140 km/h. There is already a pilot high-speed train. In October 2023, the Russian Post announced the testing of a high-speed container train on the section to Kaluga Region - Novorossiysk. There are 20 wagons in the train.

(Rosatom) has developed equipment for processing solid radioactive waste using press filter technology. Previously, such equipment was produced only abroad. The first sample has already been delivered to the Kursk NPP-2 construction site with a new type of VVER-TOI reactor. The equipment is being installed.

- Yamal became the leader of the All-Russian GTO rating. Over 51 thousand Yamal residents have received badges of distinction, which can give additional points to the Unified State Exam to applicants upon admission to the university. TRP testing centers have been established in all 13 municipalities of the district.
