Are Mediterranids the purest humans?

Nah Europeans with their large skulls, rough & ruddy skin, small eyes but not monolid, etc. scream Neanderthal. Southern Euros don’t look like this though, and especially not West Asians.

The most neanderthal looking people were the Northern Native Americans but many Southern Amerindians look very neanderthaloid as well with strong brow ridges, large faces and large noses, broad skulls and recessed chins:

So Neanderthals were more intelligent than sapiens?
