Miloradović family was a branch of Hrabreni clan which with their abilities rose from vlach status to the level of local nobility. In the early period of Ottoman rule on Herzegovina some Miloradovići preserved nobility privilegies as Christians. Later some of them converted to Islam and again preserved privilegies and some stayed Orthodox lost privilegies and become rayah. In the late 17th century some Miloradovići moved from Herzegovina to present day Vojvodina and served in Austrian military service, but in the mid of 18th century they moved to Russia and gave to Russian empire some high ranked military figures.
