Central Croatia and Western Balkans genetic groups disappeared. Now I'm just Dalmatian. And I see some features disappeared behind a paywall.

    DNA communities
Your DNA connects you to 4 communities.
Communities form when we identify AncestryDNA members whose ancestors probably came from the same place or cultural group.

    Northeastern Žilina

This is less accurate than the previous one. I have fewer communities this time.

I lost New Jersey & Eastern Pennsylvania Settlers
    New Jersey Highlands Settlers

My father's mother's side were New Jersey Highland Settlers.

I and my wife had same communities, Bulgaria and Albania, Northern Greece and North Macedonia.

Now I only have Bulgaria and she only has Albania, Northern Greece and Northern Macedonia.

I prefer previous version because my known ancestors are from Bulgaria and N Macedonia.

I read the descriptions of the regions only the roma regions says "that ethnicity has nothing to do with your genetics"... i suspect some who scored roma, complained about it that they are not, or some maybe complained it is racist because it will identify roma, or some wokes who said genetics has nothing to do with ethnicity... but no other region says that though, not jewish, not baltics, not balkan, not russia etc.

    About this Region
The early Romani people left northern India in the 9th or 10th centuries and arrived in Europe some 400 years later. Many preserved their nomadic lifestyle, in part because of Europe’s distrust of outsiders and economic competition, since Romani men were recognized for being skilled livestock traders, metalworkers, woodworkers, and basket-weavers. Throughout the Middle Ages and into modern history, discrimination and legal persecution targeting the Romani persisted, and hundreds of thousands were killed in the Porajmos—the genocide of Romani people in Nazi concentration camps. Today, along with the Romani language, other symbols of Romani pride and identity are on the rise, including radio programs, magazines, and the adoption of the Romani flag in 1971.

Please note that your ethnicity results do not prove or disprove that you belong to a particular ethnic group. Identifying with, or being a member of, an ethnic or cultural group involves much more than genetics.

I remember when the chef from the tv show "Lidia's Italy" had her DNA tested and found out she is mostly Eastern European, not Italian, but she identifies as Italian.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/AncestryDNA...lmatia_istria/

    "Italians from Croatia, Dalmatia, Istria
    Discussion
I wonder what genetics of Italian-Croatian shows? We have a lot of Italians who escaped during the Yugoslav era but there are not many publicly exposed DNA results of these people. What I found out now is that Lidia Bastianich famous American chef is Italian from Croatia but her genetics show 63% of Eastern Europe, 28% Italy & Greece, 6% of Europe West, 3% Trace Region. These are data from 2016 when Italy & Greece cluster together but the question is what is left of it today? Italy & Greece cluster no longer exist as a common DNA group, at least as far as I know . It is possible that in this case ancestors of Lidia Bastianich are Croatian origin, probably Italianized throughout history. As for Istria itself she is dominant genetically Slavic, at least as far as the Y haplotype is concerned although there are many people with Italian names and surnames who live in Istria. If you have any genetic data, please post it here ." - reddit

    Minor changes

Nine out of ten concerns are completely unfounded.
