Making sweeping statements about attractiveness based on skin color can come off as kinda insensitive.

I would also say "short-sighted". Some people seem safe in their self-made pigeonholes. Often this is at the expense of contentment.

I think that darker skins could make the physical traits harder to see,thats why it could be considered less attractive

Yeah but not all Europeans fair skinned. That is one of the appeals from a tourist aspect. Europe has a wide variety of people and cultures in a compact area.

I prefer paper-white skinned men, really pale white. Tanned men look gay to me.

But on myself I prefer heavy tan. I look much better when tanned.
