There is 30-40% not a joke as the other says, but 10% probably yes, in fact how do you know that they are children and grandchildren of Galician immigrants? The immigration dates back to the 50's and 60's? The Spaniards are the only great diaspora European in the area or is there any more?

The vast majority are full Spaniards, but there must be some additions, such as in-laws.

    E-V22 - E-BY7449 - E-BY7566 - E-FT155550
According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

Galicians started imigrated into Bahia after 1900, i know bcs im from that area.
    https://salvadorgalega.wordpress.com...20Gal%C3%ADcia.
The peak was just after the Spanish Civil War and they did not mixed a lot with the previous luso-brazilians, Salvador just rly Received Galicians and some Portugueses, while Portugueses were well assimilated in Brazilian culture, the galicians were more "preserved" and intermixed few, thats guys in video prob have at least 2 Grandparents from Spain and the majority not just meet his spaniards ancestors but also speaks Galician or Castelano. At least 20.000 Galicians imigrated, mostly btw 1920 - 1950

In the Galician case the immigration was mainly urban since they viewed in the small business in big Brazilian cities like Salvador and not in agriculture a greater chance of social mobility. The Galicians when already established and successful and in need of assistants and partners, then invited their countrymen in Spain to join them generating a process of spontaneous immigration (not sponsored by the government) in contrast with other immigrants like the Andalusians to Säo Paulo.
