In Bulgaria, three of the most popular criminal cases in last year involved muscular, aggressive, tattoed men. I haven't heard any of them having a group of females escorting them in court rooms, quite the contrary. Maybe because they behave extremely thuggish when interviewed and also they fit a stereotype of abuser.

His story is not classic abuser one though. He was a sailor who during broad daylight executed 3 drug dealers with automatic gun because they were extorting his brother, who was in their debt, for money. Many see him as hero.

Anyway, in answer to the OP, unfortunately it is true that money and sex are often bigger appeals than good behaviour and decency, even when it comes to complete scumbags.
