I think we could add turks to white, we could even add a few more groups to white, like a few northwestasian groups, a few unmixed coastal northafrican berber groups etc. In the USA there is a broader definition then on this forum, white means in the US "people of european, northafrican or middle eastern origin" additionaly "latino might be of any race" and many "latinos" are white.

A group is either white or not white,you make it seem as if turkey was some new world place where there are whites and non - whites.

That is the difference between a swarthy place in europe like sicilia or so and places out of europe that emulate eurpeanness in a smaller scale.
