To the comment that there is a cost to owning and using nuclear weapons, General Kraszewski responded that 'peace and security have no price.'

At first thought one thinks as a member of NATO - plus the Poles have a good military - it shouldn't be necessary but one can't predict the future and acquiring a nuke does provide security.

If Poland will do it, one possibility is to get B61 gravity nuclear bombs and modify their combat jets, to carry them.
But the planes are easier to intercept and take down, than nuclear missiles. At least theoretically.

Poland is seeking a more active role in NATO's nuclear-sharing mission. This could happen several ways, including by hosting B61 nuclear weapons on its territory, certifying its F-35A aircraft to carry nuclear weapons, or assuming a more significant role in decision-making regarding NATO's nuclear doctrine.
I dunno how effective this is, for their security.

Strategically and technically very difficult with a lack of indigenous enrichment facilities and low CEP missile delivery system which right now the entire EU lacks except France. For some weird reason, even France is reducing its delivery options.

Poland is steadily climbing in military strength ranking, at 21 now, soon they'll overtake Germany. Nukes will put them in top 10.

Low cep is less of an issue with nukes because of huge blast radius.

This is an obsolete view. Every single nuclear armed country has worked to reduce CEP of its missile arsenals in last 10-20 years.

Modern nuclear strategy all over the globe revolves around miniature devices that can halt the advances of armored or mechanized units of enemy in case of invasion or to cripple down a large military/industrial city/zone. For that, you need ~ or < 1 KT device and to deliver such a precision fission warhead you need low CEP of the delivery vehicle.

There is another factor here, atleast 7 largest missile forces of the world use MIRVed ballistic missiles as delivery systems of conventional/nonconventional load. The MIRVed warhead needs low CEP because the independent vehicle has no propulsion system of its own. Even for an airblast the warhead needs to be at the right coordinates where airflow is suitable for blast radiation to be taken in the direction of the intention.

“We want our submarines to be distinguished by high autonomy and power in terms of armament, as well as configuration flexibility. But they were also adapted to undetectable movement at high speed and prolonged stay underwater,” the Head of the Ministry of Defense noted.

“The vessels must be able to use torpedoes and cruise missiles launched from underwater, capable of hitting targets deep in the aggressor’s territory,” Błaszczak said.

Surely would be a very good idea, seeing how they make one much less likely to be at a risk of direct military invasion, but outside of NATO Nuclear Sharing programme Poland is unlikely to acquire nuclear weapons in the near future on its own in the current system.
