That bloke is from Manaus which is among the top 10 most populous brazilian cities. It's not remote at all and most people there self-indentify as pardo (multiracial).

I wrote wrong,he said great-grandparents but he did not say exactly how many great-grandparents from Portugal he has.

What about remote areas deep in the forests? Surely they are Amerindians right? I can't imagine that European genetics got far into those regions unless they commited mass rapes in every area of Brazil.

There were some uncontacted tribes that were discovered a couple of years ago. Undoubtedly, they have no European ancestry.

It isn't that remote. The rivers of the Amazon flow into the Atlantic Ocean, so it was easier for Brazilians and Portuguese to sail inland from the coast than Hispano-Americans and Spaniards, who were/are cut off by the Andes and Mount Roraima,

I agree that his results would be very uncommon, "Castila and León" is pretty odd for a Brazilian, I would expect results like this one regarding his European heritage: https://www.theapricity.com/forum/sh...ify-Brasileiro
Unless 23andme struggle break down Iberian due to its likeness.
    Spoiler!
